The Children's Place is going to have all my money. Their $2.99 Fall Clearance Sale started yesterday at outlets stores only. What started as a quick peek turned into a monster deal of an evening. I snagged some great items to round out the man child's fall/winter wardrobe. And I shopped ahead to jump start the Spring. Then, it hit me, at these prices I'd be crazy not to shop for all the nieces and nephews. So I ended up Christmas shopping for 8 children, including my own.

Each niece and nephew will receive 3 shirts and 1 pair of shorts (even the newborn twins), not to mention the bag of clothes solely for the man child. I used a 20% off coupon and then was allowed to combine an additional 10% coupon from opening a charge card. 

I normally don't do store charge accounts because there isn't anything there I can't pay with cash but with The Children's Place card, you get 10% for opening, another 10% when you get your card in the mail, and when you spend $200 on the card you'll get 10% off for a year. And as you see I've been shopping a lot there lately, it seemed worth it...and today it totally was! Clothes for now, clothes for later, and clothes for Christmas, it was  a great day.
