Thumbs Up Tuesday
So today's blog is a little late. It has been a busy but super Thumbs Up kind of day. So I'll get right to it...
This week's Thumbs Up Awards go to:
Moe's Southwestern Grill & Glory Days Grill-for offering and promoting their gluten-free menus, complete with additional allergy information for people with multiple allergies like the man child. The man child ate at Moe's this evening. It was very exciting not to have to cook for him prior to going out to eat (thanks FTLOJ friends Kristen & Amanda)
Bloom Grocery Stores-for offering Super Double Coupons, that apparently give overage for the products that are less than what the coupon doubles for. It's how I snagged 5 of the man child's milks for only $2.76.
FTLOJ friend Suzanne- for turning me on to a site called http://www.knockoffdecor.com/. My crafty hands are now itching to build something...and soon. My home shall never be the same.
Ritz Roasted Vegetable Crackers-for being my yummy treat this week. I spread a little cream cheese on them, then topped 'em off with a little turkey pastrami. So good, I snacked on it more than once in the same week.

Thumbs Up Tuesday
The Thumbs Up Award is my way of shouting out the things that are good. Good food, good places, service...whatever. If it made me smile, or gave me joy, or a moment of peace, I'm celebrating it here. In my best Ricky Fontaine voice (from Grease), "And awwwaaayyy we go!"
This week's Thumbs Up are awarded to the following recipients:
*Food Should Taste Good Olive Chips. OMG they are yummy. Pricey but yummy. Try with Hummus for a stomp your foot good snack.
*The man child. He, out of no where, decided to challenge himself to be quiet for a full 20 minutes. I truly enjoyed the unexpected peace of the moment.
*The staff at Harris Teeter. They really treat couponers more like customers...and less like criminals. I never seem to have a problem. They will adjust or correct anything at customer service and the check out attendants never roll their eyes or make you feel like a bother or that your savings come out of their check. I appreciate that during my shopping experience.
Let's have a round of applause for this week's winners. Who gets a Thumbs Up from you? (Yes, I will applaud)
