On your mark, get ready, get set...SHOP! Back to school is in full effect this weekend. It is Tax Free weekend in VA. Friday, August 6th-Sunday, August 8th.

Eligible purchases include school supplies priced $20 or less per item. Clothing and footwear priced $100 or less per item will also be tax-free. For more information is available at the Virginia Department of Taxation's website.

I usually avoid these in any state but this may be the year I have to participate and take advantage. I do have to do back to school shopping and I do have a few JCP coupons. It just may be the savings I need to complete the man child's wardrobe. Although, I'm not quite looking forward to it, I'm really hoping to get in early Friday morning and be done!
