Today just so happened to be a pleasant introduction to the Tax Free weekend. I usually avoid it with great intent. I chose today, in hopes people would still have to work on a Friday morning. And I was right!!! Got in and out with no problem or crowds. Picked up the man child 3 casual/sport outfits, 2 pair of jeans, a pair of denim shorts, 2 long sleeve shirts, and 1 additional shirt for $72. JCP has an in-store promotion for $10 off your purchase of $50 or more ($15 off of $75). In addition, I had a 15% off of your entire purchase from filling out the survey from my last shopping trip. I thought it was better math to do two separate orders of $50. And on each order I received $10 off + an extra 15%.

On a side note, I really have to stay abreast of shopping for my son by checking clearance racks more often. I realized today, it's not as easy to find boy clothes as cheap and plentiful as girl clothes (I grew up around all girls, so this really is a surprise to me). So I'm going to have to step my game up to find pieces throughout the year instead of all at one time, like today. Calling all mothers of sons, how do you do it, any tips and tricks I need to know?
